  • Does mirror glass come with it?
Mirror glass is installed in your mosaic frame prior to shipping. I try to have one photo in each listing showing a room setting with mirror glass installed.
  • Glass cleaning
When cleaning the mirror glass, spray your cleaning rag directly with glass cleaner and not the mirror glass itself. Avoid over-spray onto the mosaic border! Alcohol based glass cleaners can damage the grout and/or metal sealer.
  • Sealer Care
COPPER: Copper metal designs are treated with a tarnish resistant coating. You should not ever have to reapply it, but if you do, there is a spray can option for purchase via the manufacturer. The sealer is self-healing, so you should be able to clean the spot and apply the sealer right over it. Avoid over-applying. If you need assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me. ALUMINUM & METAL ASSEMBLAGES: I seal aluminum metal designs and jewelry assemblages with a liquid protective varnish. This is an artist's grade protective layer to allow ease of care. Simply wipe with a slightly water damp towel (non dripping), or use a dry dust cloth.
  • Hanging
Always find a stud or use suitable wall anchors! This cannot be over-stressed. Sheetrock will need wall anchors unless you find a stud. D-RING HANGERS AND J-HOOKS I install 601b D-Ring hangers with 50-l00lb wire for round mirrors 24 inches and larger. I use hanging hooks with D-rings and sometimes double up. You can knock down the curve of the hook to allow for the mirror to lay flatter against the wall. THE FRENCH CLEAT For my larger rectangles I use a French cleat system. Basically 2 bars come together for strong support. Don't forget, use wall anchors with sheetrock. The French Cleat needs to be installed as level as possible on the wall.
